Welcome to the WSNA Website!
The Wisconsin Student Nurses Association is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in accredited nursing programs in the state of Wisconsin (ADN, BSN, or diploma). WSNA was established in 1949.
WSNA’s Board of Directors is made up of nursing students from through-out Wisconsin who are elected at State Conventions. WSNA also has three consultants who provide guidance to our organization.
WSNA is a constituent of the National Student Nurses Organization. By joining WSNA, you AUTOMATICALLY become a member of our National Student Nurses’ Organization!!! (WSNA membership = NSNA membership)

WSNA Mission Statement:
- to assume responsibility for the contributing to nursing education in order to provide highest quality health care;
- to coordinate fundraising activities in order to provide charitable contributions and scholarship funds to promote the nursing profession;
- to provide programs representative of fundamental and current professional interests and concerns;
- to aid in the development of the whole person, his/her professional role and his/ her professional responsibility for the health care of people in all walks of life.
